Getaway to Brown County
Mike and I enjoyed a 3 day mini-vacation this week to Brown County, mainly Nashville, IN. It was very relaxing and low key, just what we needed. It's so pretty there and we'll have to get back in the fall. We did a lot of shopping, walking, eating, talking, Scrabble-ing, hiking, horseback riding, reading, eating, shopping, walking. We definitely want to go back and bring Alex sometime, too. It's a lovely 2 hour drive from Lafayette and you can easily stop at the outlet mall in Edinburgh on the way--we did! I fell in love with this ice cream. The shop is actually located in Columbus, IN right off of I-65. So, so good. I have a ton of recommendations of must-sees, must-dos, must-eats if you plan to go sometime....let me know. And I'll join you! Here are just a few pictures to share :-)
Question to our readers: Where is a nearby place that YOU like to get away to for a night, or two???

Great photos. I laughed out loud at the "slimming jeans" comments. Too funny. SpeedLimit and I might just have to visit there sometime. Yay pictures!! :) I love Nashville. When you go in the fall, it will be a totally different place. Namely, you won't be able to get a picture of the two of you without some random stranger in the frame, as well. LOL! Thank you for sharing the pictures. I loved looking at them!
